| Students of Mahatma N. D. Grover DAV School visited Tamar, Sindri and Sonahatu areas under the banner of Swachhata Hi Seva and Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, where they conducted awareness programmes and tree plantation drives. The aim of the programme was to educate the local community about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and protecting the environment. Students and teachers, along with parents, planted trees and distributed saplings to local residents, emphasizing the importance of greenery in maintaining ecological balance. Interacting with the participants in the awareness programme, who shared valuable insights on the importance of sanitation, waste management, and conservation of natural resources. Principal Deepak Kumar said this initiative not only promotes cleanliness but also sustainability. The school’s teachers and students were present on the occasion. |
